OWEN MAHONEY
Former President, Chief Executive Officer and Representative Director of Nexon Co., Ltd.
Owen Mahoney was appointed as director and advisor of Nexon in March 2024 after having served as Nexon’s chief executive officer for 10 years and chief financial officer for 4 years. He was also appointed to the board of directors at Hasbro, Inc. in March 2024.
Previously, Mr. Mahoney was senior vice president of corporate development at Electronic Arts from 2000 to 2009, where he was responsible for worldwide mergers and acquisitions and business development, and led all acquisitions and equity investments.
Prior to this, Mr. Mahoney held executive positions at online and software companies in the U.S. and Asia, including PointCast, Claris Japan and Radius.
Mr. Mahoney holds a BA degree in Asian Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
